Indian men do not seem concerned about physical appearance and aspects such as "loss of hair" or "aging" were pushed back in their considered set. This perhaps explains why the attempt to segment the Indian men as metrosexual and ubersexual did not meet with any success.
Is hard work no guarantee for success for most people in India? A resounding 74% of the men agree strongly that it is not - that is a telling commentary.
When it comes to "getting reward according to the ability," the attitude is overall strongest in the North zone (48%) and least in the South zone (20%).
Overall only a little more than half (53.5%) of the men claim that they are happy with their standard of living.
Getting the right life partner matters to as much as 44.2 per cent men.
What worries the man? "Security of job" tops the list among 34% married men and 54% unmarried men. Forty nine per cent of married men give preference to "health and well being of their children", whereas "getting the right life partner" remains number two for 44.2% unmarried men. "Achieving goals'" emerges as the aspect that worries them the most, followed by "happiness of family". Worry on illness remains somewhat high, more so among married than among the unmarried.
